Client Responsibilities
When using Paulette's Notary Services, it is essential to provide accurate and complete information when requesting notarization or apostille services. Please be aware that any errors, delays, or additional costs resulting from incorrect information are the client's sole responsibility.

No Refund Policy
Please note that all payments for notary and apostille services are non-refundable. In the event that an apostille request needs to be re-processed due to reasons that are not the fault of Paulette's Notary Services (e.g., incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client), a new service request and full payment will be required.

Shipping & Third-Party Carrier Disclosure
Once documents are handed over to a third-party carrier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL), Paulette's Notary Services is no longer responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments. While we strive to meet estimated timeframes, we cannot guarantee delivery times as they are subject to the carrier's policies. We strongly recommend that clients choose tracked and insured shipping options for their documents. Any claims for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments must be filed directly with the carrier.

Government & Processing Delays
Processing times with the Department of State, the Secretary of State, and other agencies may vary. While we make every effort to stay within the estimated timeline, we have no control over government processing delays. If a document is delayed due to government processing times, no refunds or service replacements will be issued. Our estimated processing times are based on standard processing speeds and do not account for unexpected delays.

Paulette's Notary Services is not responsible for delays, losses, or service failures due to uncontrollable events, including but not limited to: Postal and courier delays, Government processing delays, Natural disasters, Inclement weather, Client delays or cancellation/rescheduling, Strikes, civil unrest, or unforeseen emergencies.

Notary Limitations
Notaries are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or explain the contents of documents. Notarization only verifies the signer's identity and willingness to sign. It does not validate the legality, accuracy, or enforceability of a document. If legal advice is required, clients must seek counsel from a licensed attorney.
